Technical evaluation of potential or operating photovoltaic systems prior to client acquisition. Typical scope of work included site visit testing and inspection, an analysis of plant performance, an estimation of future energy generation, and a review of the plant’s operation and maintenance records in order to assess unavailability events, serial equipment failures, and equipment warranty claims.
The following represents our Operations and Maintenance plan for managing the long-term operation of a solar system:
-
Test the System and the DAS, including string level open circuit voltage and DC operating amperage tests.
-
Recalibrate or replace the DAS sensors and meters in compliance with all manufacturers’ instructions and conduct calibration testing of each Meter.
-
Conduct inverter preventive maintenance in compliance with all manufacturers’ operation guidelines
-
Clean and change the inverter air filters in compliance with all manufacturer’s warranty requirements
-
Check the torque marks and re-tighten the appropriate wiring connections to design specification torque force in compliance with all manufacturers’ guidelines.
-
Inspect the array mounting structure, conduit runs and other physical components for wear or damage.
-
Inspect and test, as appropriate, the tracking electrical components in compliance with all manufacturers’ guidelines
-
Perform quarterly inspections, including Meter inspection, and prepare a report.
-
Make and coordinate claims for reimbursement and/or replacement under any available warranty from manufacturers, installers or other similar entities relating to any or all of the System
-
Using the Data Acquisition System, monitor, meter and record the Output.
-
Prepare System event deviation reports with detailing.
-
Provide and submit annual system performance and reporting package to customer.
The following represents the services provided during our Installers Maintenance Period:
Inspect the System’s general site conditions, PV arrays, electrical equipment, mounting structure, data acquisition system, and balance of the System.
Clean the panels of the System at least twice each calendar year, as may be selected by Operator and reasonably acceptable to Host Customer and System Owner.
